I spent an anniversary in Aruba! We visited in August 2007, just as Hurricane Alex was passing through. Luckily, all we experienced was some rain from the outer bands, but it sure was interesting flying past a hurricane. The view from the plane was incredible! When we arrived at this "One Happy Little Island" we were greeted by very friendly people and a relaxed atmosphere. We rented a car (which I really wish we'd taken a photo of, since it was quite a piece of work!) and drove around the island.
